So, I'm trying to become /fa/ but it's hard for me. I really like my metal shirts and other nonsense. So, I was wondering, can I get away with them if I watch the colours, and is a cardigan with a graphic tee alright? Or should I just stick to t-shirt and a jacket.

pic related, that's how I went outside looking today. Hair is a chin-length bob. Wondering if the shirt and cardigan are alright or not.

Yeah, I'm working on it. Down 50 pounds so far.

So I should just avoid them all together? Or is it just tacky with the cardigan?

yes metal shirts are sick for the most part as long as you aren't talking about hot topiccore or like metallica and shit. wear minimal outfits with them though. i'd say wear mostly black and grays maybe military greens and browns. go for a tighter fitting black jean. get a black jacket, denim, military, or like canvas work jacket and diy with patches and shit. maybe get some military styled boots to go with it. to pull it off you need to lose weight and grow your hair out or shave your head tho.

Metal can most definitely be /fa/.

Though I would try to veer towards the 80's heavy metal look. Not full on glam metal, of course, but that era seems to be the best inspiration on the grounds that alot of staples from heavy metal fashion are still staples today: fitted denim, leather jackets, boots, plaid shirts, all that basic stuff.

That being said, tremendous respect for loosing weight. Metal attire looks great on /fit/ guys.

He's not fat, the huge bagginess on everything he wears makes him look fat. And shoes are the only passable piece.

Minimal techno is the effayest genre.

just avoid any graphic shirts as much as possible and stick with basics until you know how to properly incorperate them into outifts.

While I don't like metal and I think it's tacky, I can appreciate the loud and abstract aesthetic of some shirts.
