after my hair was long enough (think the distance between your hairline and your eyes), took my hair in the front and pulled it down while in the shower. I let the water shape the hair. Then while hair is damp, I applied olive oil lotion to it while pulling it down to have it maintain that look. I think eco style gel would work better though but i havent tried it.

alternately, hot comb would work too, I did that at one point. though not sure many can pull it off

If all else fails though just twist your hair with water and or conditioner. Once they dry and you loosen them again the twisted hair should be straighter for a while allowing you to do different styles. Be careful though that shit can break your hair.

Took 14 days for it to get here from the day that i payed. I don't live far from Germany where they're based.

1.Use only a hair pick and run your hands through your hair the remove shedding.
2.Use only hair lotions, creams or "milk" like pic related. Gels are ok, but better suited for styling. you can also make your own using rich oils like coconut, olive oil and shea butter.
3.do not use shampoos, they strip oils from your hair. Dr. bronners with tea tree oil is great
alternative (also for skin) and using a natural moisturizing conditioner is important because you can also use it as a "leave in"
4.afro hair takes a long time to reach more than 2-3 inches, usually 1-2 years
5. "curling creams" can expand texture, but I would use it only after your hair is at least 2+ inches stretched for best results.

Dreadlocks are timeless but they are hard as fuck to pull off. If you get dreadlocks, every other aspect of you should be spotless (facial hair is a no no, if you get facial hair it has to be neatly groomed but even then you'll look like a NFL player, don't groom it and you'll look like a Kengsinton market rasta), and your clothes should be on point

Depends on the style of dreadlocks you have and it depends how you wear them (loose vs tightened)

My own, I shave the sides all around (undercut, including the neck area) and wear them in a manbun. I don't know a lot about grooming because mines are "natural".
