Let's have some inputs on dreambox sneakers / RO fakes in general. Tempted to buy a pair because I still have a limited amount of money to spend online. I'd estimate that a good 10-20 people on /fa/ own dreambox sneakers, would like to hear some opinions/experiences with them.

I compared mine with this pic. The vents are lower and nearer to the zipper. Yours is the suede version, I guess the placement is different from the leather ones or maybe it's just the camera.

Also notice the zipper on the reals does not go all the way down.

2 things:

For one, rick shoes aren't really crafted precisely. The placement for the detailing varies a lot per size and even from pair to pair. I think precisely analyzing the detail placement is a moot point and looks like you've just seen pictures of the shoes on the internet.

second, the smell thing that people mention, I just bought a pair of ramones from dover street market in store and they smell like cancer when you open the box
i think the best thing would be if some anon lived in london (i don;'t know any place besides the rick store in nyc that has them out for display like selfrides and dsm do) and had the balls to try on a pair in store and take some comparison pics with the dreamboxes and the real ones. Im sure in dsm they'd recognize the fakes if you wore them in but in selfridges they probably could care less

Go to this website which I've heard is the official dreambox dealer and if you don't know Chinese, then use Google chrome and translate the page to English. Then just select your size, which is in Chinese measurements and you may have to find a conversion chart but I think EU and Chinese sizing is about the same, and then make an account, check out and pay for your order. Since dreambox is a pretty popular brand I assumed that they have international shipping and if not, then I don't know. That's how I did it at least, hopefully it'll work.

even though they're the best fakes you can buy right now, dreamboxes are still terrible

the stitching is placed poorly and very loosely on the sole, it easily rips and tears out because it's sweatshop tier

the zipper looks bad, curls in place/ripples, hard to zip up, and isn't hard to break. it'll end up splitting and eventually the zipper's pull breaks. also it jingles when you walk vs real ricks dont because the zipper is heavier

in my opinion RO sneakers look good with their design because they're constructed with high quality materials (beautiful leather, quality stitching that holds the shoe together for years, and of course the original silhouette which is a thick sole and curved toe)

yes, you can argue that the "design" of the sneakers is the same, but at $100, an originally intended "luxury shoe" becomes a clowny supra goofball shoe, and you will see that when you wear it, and other people can see that too

they look shitty

this is coming from a guy who owned dreamboxes

best advice: buy AF1s instead or some other well made high top, you'll actually wear them longer and they'll age well, dreamboxes won't (especially since dreambox's production cost is less than $45 USD)
