What are some brands and stores that sell tops for men that have a longer length. I'm a super tall guy (6'7") who has pretty normal legs and a super long torso and most jackets and shirts end up being too damn short on me, if not above my belt- never mind bomber jackets.

Problem, every time I get it to a 1 faded up with a 2, but it's never as short as I want it on the sides. Should I take the next step and have her do it with no guard on the sides?

My hair is extremely thick and grows quickly. When I get it cut I always like it but it's never so short as I want it to be. Should I have her use no guard on the sides?

I also have an high fade in the back. That won't look weird with a shorter length, will it?

I have worn it down since forever. Any other styles I should try? I don't have the nose for anything that points up.

black skinnies and low key sneakers work with nearly anything, your pic included. There might be more interesting ways to wear it though.

Well yeah I've got black skinnies and white CP mids which will certainly work but I was looking for other outfit possibilities.

I've got some light-ish brown trousers that could provide a nice contrast I think.

So, I wanted to cop the rad hourani tank top on the ssense sale, but the last one just got sold.

But they still have the female version left, and it says unisex in the name for both of them.

Do you think the measurements are the same?

maybe to execute said function. that sounds like a major life adjustment for people who are used to the convenience of dryers.

im curious, what is the specific reason for not using tumble dry?

They can damage clothing with rough motion or excess heat. Roasting your clothes strains the fabric and basically ensures they will not last as long. Shrinkage can occur across a variety of fabrics and pieces and is always a crapshoot as to whether it will be fixable or not. Most things you wash in the machine will dry overnight anyways if you hang them right so it's really not as big a deal as it sounds when you first consider it.

Oooh, okay.

In that picture my hair stands dry and unstyled, my hair is like that at the worst times.

I did with no poo for a while over summer, and then I did shampoo sometimes (maybe weekly) and then stopped again. Once my hair gets really bad I will shampoo but I try to save it for the weekends because it makes my hair fall weirdly and feel scratchy.

Day to day I spüle (I don't remember Englisch word for it. Put water over?) with cold water (Take hot shower, then turn it down to cold for hair time because I'm an Muschi hahaha) and get it really good with water only. After shower, I gently pat it dry with an towel (In the past I just did whatever with the towel which is why it looks damaged) and run my hands through it. And then I use an hair dryer on low with the cold button on and get it fairly dry. I allow the last bit of damp to come out on itself, and end up with it unstyled. Usually I use no products (Is that the right Englisch word for it? Products?) and let it down, mostly because I'm too afraid to mess it up. But as the saying states es wird nichts so heiß gegessen, wie es gekocht wird. Things are never so bad as they are seeming.

I can't buy fancy products, so don't ask about product names or anything hahahah.

Sorry if that wasn't a great answering.

Sometimes I apply small amount of baby powder on my hand and run hand through hair. Only do this if you have fair hair. (And is baby powder bad to make with? I know I shouldn't use shampoo but what about baby powder?)

Well, I was gonna replace the laces with black ones, and just wear them as normal workboots, I do a lot of stuff that warrants workboots, but was wondering if these would be a bit too punkish, as you say. I'm looking for some boots to wear with dark denim, hoodie/black denim jacket, something like pic related I guess, what would you go for?

Does [pic related] count as a square-toed shoe or is this acceptable? Similar shoes have been suggested to me at shoe stores, but I'm not sure where the line really cuts between round and square.

How do you actually approach a store when you want to buy a suit? Do you decide what color, style, design etc you want, and ask a clerk to make suggestions? Or do you take a picture in of something similar to what you'd like and go from there? Does finding a proper suit require hours of searching or am I overthinking things? I'm trying to find a solid new suit for a decent price, but it's a little overwhelming to look through a rack with like 1000 black suits. I'm also having a hard time finding a happy medium between the less-reliable $200 Macy's bargain suits and the $2000 suits woven from fancy Italian ballsacks or whatever.

Depends on the store you're going to, how much you want to spend, and how much you know about suits. You can walk in and grab a department store brand "suit" and shirt, get it hemmed by their in-store tailor, and be out for under $250, but you get what you pay for. Substandard construction, less durability and fit, less comfort, and a Macy's employee is hardly an expert on suits or tailoring, just good enough to get the job done. Walk into Brooks Brothers and say "I don't know anything about suits. I want a (color) suit" and they'll guide you by the hand with beginner suggestions, great measurements, fashion sense to temper your dumb ideas, a suit you can do somersaults in or be fine on a hot day that fits so well it makes Gosling look like a hobo. But you'll walk out about $1000 lighter.

There's a middle ground and for average middle class dudes that's what I suggest. Go to a good tailor nearby or a BB/Hugo Boss/blah blah store and get some measurements taken and say you're looking for a suit. They'll tell you what sizes you need and what styles will be best for you and the occasion/use. You can be a bum and do this at BB and leave, or a tailor might charge you $10 but probably nothing especially if you're going to come back and get the suit fitted.

Color depends on what you use it for. Navy is pretty classic and only looks out of place at funerals. Black's cool but more formal, grey and such are good to change it up at work and not look like you're a funeral director.

Try to wait for a sale and you could walk out of a department store with a brand name suit for under $300. Even if you don't you can get a perfectly fine one for $400 or less. Try a lot of stuff on and stay away from mystery brands or the cheapest stuff on the rack. Shoulder and waist fit are most important, followed by general jacket shape and leg fit. Leg and sleeve length are easily optimized by a tailor and he can bring in your jacket and shirt to fit you perfectly too for less than $50 probably.

I have no experience with Suit Supply or Bar III but I've heard many times they're totally serviceable while pretty easy on the budget. I'm a big fan of Calvin Klein for suits that are affordable but better than all the cheap shit, cause it's hard for normalfags to drop a grand at BB or whatever. Whatever you get take it to a good tailor after and say you want it fitted and he'll take care of you.

Color, tie shoes etc. are more up to you. Contrast and complimentary colors are best. With a navy suit a white shirt and gold tie is classic as is most any bold color(navy, red)/pattern or broad striped tie (no black or green). A light blue shirt works too but make sure it plays nice with your tie. Brown shoes are more casual and versatile with other outfits, but black is clean and formal. Match your belt. Wingtips/brogues are more casual and clean more formal.

Just stay away from men's wearhouse and the like. If you're paying $100 for 3 suits just kill yourself.

>> No.7603156

>>7603137
Oh but if the jacket has functional cuff buttons sleeve length becomes more important because the tailor will have to shorten the sleeve at the shoulder which is harder and costs more. Not a dealbreaker just remember it
