technically business casual, but actually wear denim and an untucked button up most days. sweater over that now that it's freezing out. I don't care to spend much on clothes for work.

I work in industrial, construction and electricity.

Most of the time I'm working outside in the bear-bones of a house, and since I live in Michigan, during the winter it can become excruciatingly cold. So, I wear multiple layers of sweatshirts and jeans, with a carhartt jacket and overalls for my outer layer.

kitchen swag can be /fa/ as fuck, if you ever worked in a kitchen you know what i mean.
i used to work in this large commissary above a gentrified 50s deli, and there was this guy who always had the best kitchen swag. he would rock his whites super clean and his pants rolled just a little, and he had this gnarly beard and long-ish hair always back in a tight watchman cap. he would do rails in the bake shop after 7 or so and just prep the fuck out of our list. he also pulled all the hipster waitresses who were bitches to everyone.
i was jelly.

Engineering sophomore student here. I had a realization the other day: the reason most engineering students tend to exhibit autistic behavior (myself included) is that the curriculum is nothing but analyzation of problem solving that is all objective: there is no spectrum of correctness in terms of a physics or calculus problem, it's either completely right or wrong. When you're subject to this mindset for a year or two, if becomes difficult to deal with others since many matters, especially in political topics, are never completely right or wrong; there is subjectivity, and it becomes difficult to find a stance with confidence.
