I've been to London, Paris, Berlin, NYC, and a bunch of other big cities.

Nothing really compares to Manhattan. Nothing in Europe even comes close. Sure places like London and Paris have some cool neighborhoods, but they are nothing like manhattan.

I've lived my whole life in chicago. Really beautiful city in terms of architecture and landscape,but bretty un/fa/ population.

In NYC? Want to switch things out? Sure, go to any other american big city and meet the exact same people types in the exact same venues only with new names.
In Berlin? Youre a train ride away from getting drunk with human traffickers in Slovenia, joining ongoing riots in Ukraine just to have done it, being slapped by a french girl in Paris, picking a fight with a chav in London, boarding unknown yachts in Monaco, taking advantage of the plummeting euro in Spain and Greece. Actual different countries a few hours away in any direction. You get drunk at a bar, conceive an idea and go to the train station.

America makes me claustrophobic as fuck, but Im probably just spoiled from living in a good part of the world.

I live in Seattle as well. As far as I see, Seattle (at least Cap Hill, where I live) doesn't give much of a fuck. You see trends among the gay dudes and ridic stuff on Asian people. Lots of homeless-core and punky stuff on the Hill. I don't generally see /fa/ people unless I'm downtown, but there are plenty of well-dressed people.

/fa/ aside, Seattle is an awesome city and you should live here.
