Why the fuck do people travel to the places circled?

I'm talking about extended travel vacations, anyway.

As an American, I'm genuinely enraged. Knowing that since commercial flight became a thing, we've still only traveled around the country, instead of fucking places of historical importance, like anywhere in Asia or Europe.


it's like, really? You want to travel to fucking Texas, Hawaii or even NYC instead of France, Egypt, or China? Really?

How do we get Americans to travel outside the country, but to Old World locations?


yeah it'll probably hurt my country's economy by weakening our tourist industry, but fuck it. I want them to be more cultured

I know, and theres nothing wrong with those people. They're experiencing the world as they should. But what about all those people who still insist on traveling around America, the cultural wasteland. There are even Europeans who insist on travelling to this shithole just to look at what? Multicultural cities? Glorified hip hop? Its fucking disgusting when they could just drop a few extra hundred dollars to experience something unique and to expand their horizons.
