I have small moleskine @ home for writing down my finance calculations and some random notes that i have to take.
When I work i carry a medium notepad for writing down work-related shit because it's fucked up to write down IP adresses, configurations and shit on mobile phone or tablet and I need something that won't be broken if falls down from table or if i kick it while doing something.
But why the fuck would anyone carry a notebook when going for a coffee with friend or going out?

I use my Olympus XA daily. I also develop at home. I used to carry a digital everywhere i went but the thing i love about analogue is you take one picture then you move on. When all i used was digital i used to come home with 200 pictures where 95% of them were totally unnecessary.
The quality of the XA also surpasses any (almost) digital compact.

Of course, if i go out intent on shooting i also bring my dslr, but for everyday snapshotting it's not needed.
