I'm originally from Langley and now I live in Surrey.

I hop on the skytrain to Vancouver for shopping and bars and concerts on weekends.

I drive all over the fraser valley for work though.


I doubt many of the people who claim to live in Vancouver actually live in the downtown proper.

Some that do will be living beyond their means unable to save anything or go on vacation or own a car. Others will be living with or supported by parents.

I highly doubt that anyone on /fa/ earns enough on their own to afford Vancouver rent without either giving up something massive or being really irresponsible.
