The Great Divide has good hoodies and is euro I think.

I remember reading the Slate article, but I can't say I'd ever be tempted to buy one.

Still, I'd like to know what the "quality" is like

>> No.7404527

>>7404510

I can't imagine how it's different from any other mid-price hoodie from a specialty sportswear company like CYC or whatnot. If you told me it was made like Loopwheeler or Buzz Rickson stuff, then I'd be more willing to believe the hype but that's what it seems to amount to me: hype.

>> No.7404565

pretty much this.

a lot of people look for different things in a "best" hoodie, different fits, different feels

the only thing that will truly appeal to everyone is good marketing

I have never heard of this brand, but after reading said Slate article, I'm intrigued. I don't wear hoodies anymore, but they have a really nice varsity jacket. I might give it a shot in the future.

>> No.7405015

I own the "best hoodie" it's really heavy duty and not so soft. It is warm though, good for outdoors, not so good for fashion.

>> No.7405016

>>7404984

i honestly don't have anything against this company but i'd much much rather people buy varsities made of wool. cotton varsities almost always have a really bad shape to them imo

>> No.7405018

I've found Gildan plain pullover hoodies to be the best.

THe material is so thick, it's great.

You can get them for like 15 too

You but into all that loopback hype? Fuckin lol m8

>> No.7405031

I bought the American Giant black crew neck. As far as the quality gig goes, I'd say its pretty spot on. Its probably the heaviest garment I own, which doesn't say much except how warm it is. I've had it for a while now and there's no obvious signs of wear, at least since I don 't wash it very often.

its got side panels(?) or something so its v comfy and did I mention how warm it is. I would recommend.

Fucking love functional ribbing.
Most hoodies are like this american apparel.
Weakass doubled over material that doesn't provide any kind of seal, stretches out and doesn't recover.
