Thinking about copping some red wings. Any one here have some? Are they pretty good quailty? I have a pair of 1kmile boots and Alden Indy boots but I want some red wings. I've look through the styleforum thread but I can't seem to find fit pics of the moc toe in copper, which is what I'm gonna buy.

I've got a pair of 875s. They're are great and built to last. The break-in period left more than a few blisters on my ankles, but everything's fine now.

Sole material looks weird as fuck. I thought all white RW soles are wedge soles made by RW. That looks rough and crepeish compared to the wedge sole I have. Those aren't from that Chinese fake sit are they?

TBH I think that wedge soles look better when paired with moc toes but those are definitely a solid cop. There's a kid on campus with a similar pair and they've looked pretty good on him the three or so times I've seen him.

This. This is just my opininion but wedges indeed look best on either bulky moc toe or super slim toe like Vibergs. That 1k mile/IR esque toe looks off with wedges imho,

I own the 875, and the quality is unparalleled, both of the leather and the construction of the actual boot.

the crepe sole is a lot more comfortable than the cork ones on the iron rangers
