doing stretches and body lengthening exercises can definitely help, but really only 0.5-1.5 inches depending on how bad your posture is before starting, and it can take along time in some cases. Also sleeping on your back rather than your sides or stomach can help a lot when combined with those exercises, but again it depends how badly poor posture is effecting your height.
