Is Indochino worth it for a suit?

I've bought a pair of chinos from them before and it was a pretty good experience, but I'm really apprehensive here.

I'm such a poverty stricken fuccboi that their cheapest options are still pretty expensive for me...
But, my whole life has been one uphill battle trying to find clothes that actually fit and the war won't stop at suits. I've already made one unsuccessful round through the retail stores wading through fat people garbage, I can't take much more of the fit rejection.

Even at shit stores like Kohl's the jackets alone are $130. That doesn't even leave enough to pay for a skilled tailor.

When do you need the suit by? If it's for prom in May and you have tons of time, then thrift shop weekly or biweekly. If a suit on the rack totally disgusts you, you can push it forward. If you kinda like it, eyeball it, does it even look like it would come close to fitting you? If so, take another look at it. Would you really wear it? Would you wear it with another shirt? With another tie? If so, try it on. If it fits and you love it, buy it. If it fits and you have second guesses, don't buy it. If it doesn't fit and you hate it, don't buy it. If it doesn't fit and you love it, don't buy it, no matter how much you want it.

Bonus: You'll find all kinds of cool clothes at the thrift shop while you're there. Sweet deal.

Couple of questions.

i found this oddly-proportioned sweatshit at a thrift store. it's really long in the waist and it tapers in the sleeves, so the forearm and wrist are tight while it's baggier from the elbow up.

Does it look acceptable as a basic?
If it's outlandish, what should I wear with it to make it work?
I can sew p well, should I alter it?

It's really warm and the color works well with indigo, so I want to keep it if at all possible.
