I don't know enough about photography but there are some photos showing like lens size and how it distorts images compared to real life.

Cameras on phones are usually wide angle, which are good for landscape shots and probably cheaper and smaller than "normal" or telephoto lenses.

They're usually not good for portraits and have some unflattering distortion.

i remember reading years ago (in a thread of a similar nature) that addressed different angles and how to identify which one is your best, and blah blah. there was a little more science behind it than i can remember, but maybe with a bump someone might have the copypasta, or a picture.

anyway op, just be yourself - you can't change the face you're given with, but you can change your attitude about it. just own who you are and what you look like. confidence (and in turn, happiness) play a large role in attraction.

hope u have a nice nite :^)

longer lenses (think mid range zoom lenses) will make you appear thinner & better looking.

the more room between you & the photographer, the better, provided you fill the frame properly.

cellphone cameras are usually wide and cause barrel distortion.

So anything closer to the lens will appear out of portions, cartoon like sometimes. the farther you are away from the lens and as well zoomed in. avoids distortion.

also lighting is a huge factor
