310 euros for a little piece of metal? Fuck that. Fashion is bullshit sometimes.

Hell, I could probably make a mold using some cheapo, basic ring and clay and cast something 95% the same for $10-20.

what the fuck
n a documented one-time surgery-performance, a plastic surgeon removed a 110mm x 10mm strip of skin from the abdomen of Sruli Recht. The subcutaneous tissue and epidermis was then scraped from the dermis, which is stripped of fat by hand and blade, before being salted, and tanned with an Alum solution. The resulting leather from the dermis was prepared for use in the ring, Forget Me Knot.

SR661 - Leather made from the abdomen skin of Sruli Recht, mounted to a 24 carat gold band.

That is a quality piece of jewelry.

Personally I keep it simple, but make sure I always match.

Right now I have plain black dress shoes with a steel band, so I wore my tungsten carbide wedding band with a black watch with a stainless woven band.

A black or silver necklace would probably set it all off, but I'm not a necklace guy.

I'm sure you could make it yourself, but getting the exact proportions, the textured nail head, etc. are all little details that might make it or break it for any given person. The fact that everyone from Cartier to CCP to Margiela to Julius (these) makes one tells you a lot about the wide appeal the style has and about how many different executions you can do.
