Actually looking more closesly at it, it seems to be a different model. I have no idea where to get that one though. The pic I showed is the regular sk8-hi shoe, which isn't by any means that bad, just not as great as OPs.

If anyone of you actually skate, you can always get the size of Vans that is just the size of your foot or even feels tad tight and just skate them.
They'll stretch and wear and end up looking kinda like the ones in OP. I skate lot of Vans because of dat touch to the board.

Just get to it, get a complete and get at it. There's skateboarding general in /asp/ and they are more than happy to help. It might feel kinda hard at first but once you find the hoy of skating again, you are golden.

If I actually had a job I'd happily get a _few_ things for retail from there - but not much at all really. The only time I've ever paid retail was on a pair of cheap mondays when I was 17 and an arvust tee that was supposed to be sale but I was too beta to correct him. Vanishing Elephant is one of the only brands there I'd happily buy for retail from there - and even then, I'd just hit up the VE store more likely.
