Do they ask you to show ID when you buy something with a card? I guess I was a little "off" today and I was wearing a backpack and didn't comb my hair, so when I paid for a jacket they asked me to show ID first. This is probably the second time anyone has ever asked for ID, the first time was at a radioshack when I went to buy some card.

Interestingly enough, I usually take the bus home and I've noticed that white ghetto types around here are the ones who usually shoplift. They usually take out the merchandise out of their jackets on the bus and show their friends.

I was reading some local newspaper the other day and they had a section for arrests. Noticed a lot of young white kids getting caught shoplifting, but usually at places like kohls or burling coat factory. They usually brandish a screwdriver or something only to get caught right outside the bus stop.

I work retail. When people pay with credit I ask them for their ID every time. It's to compare the name on the card with the name on the ID and to see the signature with which to compare with what they sign on the pinpad. Also to compare the picture with them. To make sure that they are indeed the person on the card.

If they don't have their ID, I ask them if they have a second card with the same name - and then I can still compare the names and signatures.

If they don't have that either, I ask them if we can run it as debit instead or if they have another form of payment.

If they don't have that, I don't accept the transaction, secure the merchandise, alert a coworker by pretending I'm new/dumb and asking a question I already know the answer to in such a way that they can get what's going on ("hey coworker, are we allowed to take credit transactions without an ID (No)?")

I do this all because it's SOP and I like being able to pay rent. Also if you've ever had a credit card stolen or any other form of identity theft, you'd understand why it's good to do all of this.

the main reason people would regret or cringe about having used to like emo, posthardcore music is the image, death grips image isnt offensive. also most fans of the bands you listed were immature at the time they were fans.

Why would anyone get embarrassed by the music they listened to 7 years ago. I used to listen to some absolutely awful stuff when I was younger but I don't cringe because I enjoyed it at the time.

You sound insecure.
