how do raf simons fit, smaller or larger? i ordered some 44 high tops, as usual wearer of US 11s will i blow $200 on secondhand shoes that won't fit?

that's fine if your feet are still growing. length-wise your shoe should fit like this:

your heel sits all the way back in the heel-cup. there's little to no room between your heel and the back of the shoe. maybe a playing-card's width at most.

your toes do not rub the front of the toebox at any point during your step. it's okay if they touch the top and the sides (to your own comfort level) but you don't want the tips of your toes hitting the front of the inner wall. that being said, you don't want enough room such that your foot can slip around in the shoe. you want the toebox just long enough to not hit the front of your toes and not any longer than that.
