What is your opinions on vests? I have picked a few up over the years and wear them seldomly. I've never worn one casually, I always feel like people look douchey when they do that. What do you guys think about them?

You should only wear a waistcoat if you're English, /fit/ or a combination of the two.

you shouldnt wear a waistcoat by itself

even with a three piece suit it can be kind of iffy but its better than just itself

Unless you're Joseph Gordon-Levitt, only wear them as part of a three-piece suit. And only ever wear a three-piece suit if you actually can wear one. It takes quite some "authority" for lack of a better word.

Not unless you a "mixologist" or a folk musician, even then it's still douchey.

If it's a waistcoat-style vest, always button it. If it's a cargo-style, you'd better be a fisherman or something.

Atrocious, disregarding the bow-tie, that shirt is way too casual for that suit.
