Get a jacket and just layer under it
You can always do base-layers (heattech or merino wool stuff from outdoorswear companies
I've never been in -30 temperatures, but a merino baselayer + a shirt + a sweater or cardigan or fleece + a technical jacket
You could even do a wool blazer under a technical jacket, it could work well enough depending on how you do it (picture related)

Also, it takes hard work to get to where I am. School work at this level is pretty hard, its not just memorizing enough to pass tests, its actually learning and understanding because its material your career/knowledge base depend on.

You are so deep in the pit...dudebro.
Listen, I too was a naive young doe once, then I decided to listen, really listen to the people who had made it. Completed rigorous schooling, drove 4 hours to work everyday for the 1st year in order to get their foot through the door, the whole works. I took mental notes and I began to connect the dots.
I asked them, How much of what you've learned in school do you use/remember now? Not much.

I was expecting a litany. But in reality you're so exhausted by the workload that at the end of it all you can barely recall who your professors were.

when an potential employer sees that you've completed whatever degree they see that you're disciplined and malleable. They don't expect much else. In fact they don't care about much else.

“Education either functions as an instrument which is used to facilitate integration of the younger generation into the logic of the present system and bring about conformity or it becomes the practice of freedom, the means by which men and women deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in the transformation of their world.

Paulo Freire, Pedagogy of the Oppressed

"It’s not a mechanical phenomenon, but it’s overwhelmingly true that the people who make it to decision-making positions (that is, what they think of as decision-making positions) are those who conform to the basic framework of the people who fundamentally own and run the society. That’s why you have a certain choice of technocratic managers and not some other choice of people equally or better capable of carrying out policies but have different ideas.

I bought it in an S, my usual size. I normally layer it with at least a shirt and jmper, just a shirt/tee would be too thin.

I'm 6'0, 145lbs with a pretty skinny frame as well. It won't be too short on you I can tell you straight off.

Hope this helps. Sorry for the late reply.

And thats why you choose a model thats mostly worn by people who have no idea of fashion in general and picked these prefaded jeans so they fit into their peer group of ugly loosers who meet in front of a liquor store to get drunk on a friday evening. Skinny or maybe slim fitting dark indigo raw jeans dont make you look like a boy on the first day of school if you arent a fucking teenager like most people in this damn thread.
