then
they're fucking inconsequential leather trainers, nobody's going to know any better.

besides why are you fishing for compliments among people ('plebs') that don't know shit about the brand or what they embody?
grow up

Thank God i sold my augusta's. Those shoes honestly have the shittiest silhouette i have ever seen in a pair of sneakers. It's literally more clownish than red wing iron rangers. I would rather wear a pair of black vans slip ons than own another pair of augustas.

yeah, that's 100 percent correct. They are long as fuck. Don't understand why he designed it like that. Just picture the island dunks, but with an extra 3/4 - 1" long toe box that curves upwards. It also smells like a horses ass. It must be fresh leather though ill give ol simone credit for that.

no the last that he uses is just cut like that

don't think they were 60, but yeah it was twill. Actually no these are julius, these were my Zam barretts. These are the DNA jeans. Not sure on the measurements because i only had them for a month. On another note, i wouldn't recommend ZB, his cuts are weird.

i recommend julius more than drkshdw jeans(except for memphis jeans). I actually like the cut on the acne ace cash more than drkshdw detroits. But, if i was to alter both jeans though, I would pick the drkshdw detroits. Drkshdw jeans have better quality than acne. Overall, straight off the line unaltered id go with Julius J jeans first if you were to spend under 250.

>> No.7156042

>>7156005
Right. Memphis/Berlins are baggy and detroits are slim right? I keep seeing so many variations of Detroit I don't know what to cop :[
I found some BNWT on sufu in my size but $170.00 Is this a fair deal?

julius j jeans go for close to 1k retail though

>> No.7156070

>>7156042
you can usually get new detroits for 135-150 on gilt or myhabit if you wait long enough. The sizes are all fucked up on drkshdw detroits though. One seasons they run small, while others they're loose as shit. Best thing to do is take your normal size and alter them if they don't fit right. Detroit's won't give you the stacks like the picture, unless you taper the fuck out of them. Memphis Jeans are the skinniest jeans he has to offer, they are basically leggings. Memphis jeans have elastic in them so they are comfortably skinny, but they also cost a lot(700-1000).

looks good with:
black velcros/qasa's/flyknits/geos

Looks decent with Drips, but i never liked it.

bad with high fashion/luxury shoes
givenchy/margiela/visvim

Consider that maybe you – through a lifetime of osmosis, and because you're probably not "trying" as hard – may not be styling the higher end, more avant-garde pieces to their highest potential, where you might have your boring mall sweater game on lock.

Also consider you're probably behaving differently wearing them. If the Damir etc. pieces are more who you want to be, you might need some time to grow out of your silk cashmere cocoon and ego. There's something very self-effacing, even as its powerful and expressive and individualist - about the kind of style you're talking. That person doesn't need compliments; why should anyone be giving them to him? (C.f. that Yohji quote; someone post it for me, I'm on mobile)

Whereas Zara is in the business of knocking off great, accessible, pop appeal designs from serious designers and selling them as overpriced ego band-aids. Chances are that Zara sweater has a pretty good design, and it's bad just in essence and cotton and acrylic and the handcraft of rushed slaves.

Do they really look good with FlyKnits? You should provide a photo if you have one with the two together. Also thanks, I usually wear them with a Rick Tank and Shirt, I do agree they look bad with normal shirts.
