Lately I have been using Gilette fusion to shave, yet I want to start using a straight razor, yes or no?

Why do you care what people on 4chan think of what you use to shave your face in the privacy of your home? Nobody will see it, nobody is going to judge you for use electric, safety, or straight. Just use whatever you want.

So you just want yes or no answers, you want us to decide for you. You don't want infos and stuff?

No, get a safety razor.

Do you really want to strop your straight razor and learn how to hone? Too much time and effort.

Not a bad read for anyone starting out with traditional wet shaving.

Sucks my granddad could never teach me because of his Parkinson's disease

This

Used a straight razor for about a year. Not only does actually shaving take fucking forever but you have to strop it after use (and wait like 2 days so you don't ruin it), hone every few weeks... Not worth it. Safety razor is where it's at.

Yeah, no reason in trying to improve your life by asking other people for help! Just stay the same way constantly and never change.

If you're intrested in a straight, but don't want to bother with stropping or honing the blade, try a shavette.
