I've worn 3 pairs of CM jeans. The first one from one of their 2009 outputs. It was still genuine denim back then. Lasted me 9 months of wear before blowing out.

The pair I bought this year, for 10 euro's more, same cut.. only lasted 3 months before heavy fading of the dye and blowing out.

They still use the same cheap icky YKK zipper as always. If the pants don't break down the zipper will.

The trick is context.

Not caring about how you look when you look good is a mental luxury. Not caring about how you look when you look bad is an emotional necessity.

People that only do things when they have to are desperate and consequently unattractive.

People that do things because they can are in a position of power and consequently more attractive.

Basically, the advice you got probably works for your advisor. Probably won't work for you though 8)
Not yet at least. Just keep lurking. Images here will teach you more than any amount of questions.

Yes a whole show depicting gods Angels
Marching down during the apocalypse. Sounds so good. I would have silhouettes featuring harsh tapers of a voluminous thigh towards a fitted ankle. This would be achieved with tall boots. There will be spirals running around the boots, thick root-like tentacles. These will be a dark sewer green and I want to achieve a symbolic visual of these Angela literally walking through the filth that is man. Maybe I'll use the heel to have small engravings of men suffering in the anguish that is the end of the world. The top half will be much more akin to the glory that is The Lord. Lots of white, gold and the like. There is much more to say in terms of silhouette and material but I am running out of space

>> No.7078847

>>7078833
See when you separate the levels it would depict ( from bottom to top)
Earth - modern man
Kingdom come - the Angels coming down, the first to penetrate our world
Jehovah- god , who's face and atmosphere are incomprehensible

Thus, the legs would trudge through the filth, while the midsection still reveals the glorious army of heaven, and the head would rightly symbolize god.
I might just stick with the first two though because I don't know if depicting and allusions to god would fit the occasion.

This is all better with pictures. It is hard sometimes to finish an entire idea on paper though

This is all clearly from a Christian lens, obviously.
I do want some sort of winglike structures, but I do not want them to resemble something that could be labeled zoomorphic. I realize that is difficult, but I feel it can be done with a subtlety (as everything can).
This would also feature parts of what I call "the life unit"
A sort of spine that runs along the vertebrae that interacts with your clothing. But that's way to ahead of myself haha.
Anyway the jackets would be stunning. Definitely compete with the skirts and dresses on a completely different level, but they both still deliver. Don't want to talk about skirts or dresses immediately, but they have more of an angelic grace, as where the jackets have a much more structured shell quality to them. The silhouette however is what delivers. Large boxy impending shapes that still retain the natural feminine curves that are alluring. They will have a sort of imperial armor reference, but I feel this can be stripped down from that. Gold on black would be the color choice. Need better ideas on these however. I need something new from them.

>> No.7078871

>>7078863
Yes it just came to me. Clockwork mechanisms so small and intricate, yet sturdy and flexible that they can behave like fabric. They will form string size spines and will be used to adjoin fabric prices where a hemline would meet. The spines, when jolted by the natural kinetics of walking and such, will grind against eachother and give a sense of mechanical movement to the wearer, like she is wearing a machine. Of course it will retain a regal, empyrean essence to it. These are the girls of God!

Springs also allow for interesting tension, and can easily be infused into a piece. Perhaps pneumatics can be called into play, but that's another story. Anyway, I'm not sure what kind of arm wear I would have. Gloves? An easy bet but I have to think of how they affect the silhouette and also decide on materials. Don't want leather but I also feel like a light fabric would be too minimal. Perhaps a chain mail styling, since we are still on the midsection and it should be armor like. Chains allow for easy illusions of draping.

What are you doing to your clothing to break a zipper.

Like I get that clothing usually goes up in quality as you spend more. But ive never broke a zip before in my life. And for the majority of that ive been wearing Primark quality clothing.

question for people with acne ace cash or max cash

I have three questions that I have really wanted an answer for, for quite a while now...
Firstly, what kind of bag would fit a goffninja look, I'm looking at some leather backpacks, but I dont know. (Not the main question)

Secondly, and more importantly, where can I get a cheap but acceptable goofninja scarf. It seems they all cost upwards of 300...

Finally, Someone in another thread said you can get extra long tee's from Hanes for 5 euros, couldn't find anything like that, which made me wonder if there were any good budgetninja sites/stores. Been lookiong through taobao/ioffer/fabrixquare so far...

Thanks for your time

Ohh, so all the crepe soles will eventually turn black once you've worn them for a while? That's great to hear.

>>7079399
Any idea how long it takes to get them this colour? few days? a whole year of daily use?

I am indecisive whether to buy brown suede with black soles or beeswax with crepe soles (my preference goes to beeswax but I want a dark sole).

Thanks so much for the info guys
Hope you can answer that one question

no tie is going to make up for that god awful shirt.

you can't escape the inherent formalness of a suit so trying to dress it down with an overly casual shirt (i presume this is what you are trying to do) will just look misplaced.

What are you wearing a suit for?
Do you own any nicer shirts?
What shoes are you wearing?

Pro:
They generally can be both casual and formal at the same time which is pretty rare for a shoe.

Cons:
you can only wear them when the weather is dry

desert boots are boring, if you're wearing them chances are the rest of your outfit will be pretty boring too (this might be a pro for you).

Yep, trying to dress down since I have a political fundraiser to staff. Attire is business casual, trying not to look too formal as looking approachable is the most important since it is a mix of old and new donors.

I have other nice shirts, I usually go with solid colors or pin stripes but wanted to mix it up for this event.
