I've tried mousse and it just helps keep it looking "wet and tousled" but doesn't help much. I've tried gel but that just forms curls.
I've tried high hold/low shine pomades and if it has petrolatum/petroleum it curls up HORRIBLY. I've only tried one water based but that doesn't have much hold.

I want straighter hair so that I can get this look.
