Hey /fa/
i have a question regarding hair.. whenever i have had a shower (shampoo and/or conditionor w/e) my hair comes out fuzzy and frizzy and unstylable..
When i do nothingwith it during the day or wear a hat it comes out flattened and easily stylable like in pic related.. though it is a bit greasy.. how do i get this effect after the shower rather than after a whole day?

Apply hairwax.

What type of hair do you have? Wavy, curly, straight?

wavy when shorter, curly when relatively long..
i have tried gels and hairwaxes it turns out shiny, dirty, uneven spread.. those kind of problems

atually (op here) it is the same as in pic related, after a whole day, hence the fact that i want it right out of the shower (After drying and shit)

I see. Well I'm not sure if I can help you.

I have fine curly/wavy hair pretty much like yours. My hair always becomes dry, fuzzy and frizzy aswell when coming out of the shower despite going no poo.

I've tried alot of techniques to style my hair without it looking too greasy, shiny or dirty.. Best I could come up with is apply hairwax (not too much though), style it, then apply hairspray.

You could try pommade but that makes my hair too fucking greasy and doesn't look good on me, clay has no effect on my hair either unless it's wet.

i have never tried this i will look into it thanks

tried pommade, didnt work for me either..
how do you apply the wax evenly? is it very time consuming?

Yes, it actually takes 15min to style my hair the way I want every morning, I think it's worth it though. My hair can either make or break my overall look & fits.

I just take a finger or two of the wax then make sure I apply it to every hair from bottom to the top, after that I mold it in shape (usually go curly mode). If you want it looking like the pic u posted then u should definitly use very little and very evenly

try coconut oil. it will make your hair supppaa soft. also sulfate free shampoo and conditioner can help. (that means it wont suds up)

This. My hair's pretty shitty, but extra virgin coconut oil is amazing. I can't stop touching my hair after.

What are alternatives to baking soda when doing no poo? And as I understand coconut oil is for conditioning. Do you dilute it with water before applying?
