ricks t-shirt sizing is whack so just get whatever you're comfortable in, make sure to ask for REAL physical measurements, not tag alpha numerical. but usually theyre usually able to stretch HEAPS
idk if there's that much difference in sizing between cotton and silk/visc or silks or blends or w/e usually the model dictates, not the fabric composition.
from my exp though there are more silks and viscose in AW collections and more cottons in SS

but tbh w/ rick you can kindve gurantee comf w/ whatever you get but IMO a wise ol' momma tol' me that a silk/visc would be a sick first choice since nothing really compares. words to live by tbh - if you have the opportunity go w/ a silk/visc blend (make sure you're satisfied w/ measurements).
also in regards to the dress thing.
iirc most my rick shirts hit half way down my femur but the tighter they are --> the more they cling --> the mroe they mould to body --> dont hang low
