I havent cut my hair in years. I want my haircut like this. If I take this picture into the barber will they be able to recreate it without fucking it up or will I need to tell them exact length I want it. Also it looks like he's using some kind of product, would brylcreem work to get that effect?

I like the style, but only look at the hair. Not all haircuts fit people the same, it could look incredible or try hard tier terrible.

it's basically a short back and sides. they'll probably give you what you want, but shorter than how you want it (because barbers are paid by the amount of hair they remove)
