i'd like to buy a winter/fall coat for around $800-$1000 ish

this is the exact silouhette im looking for but i can't find anything at the usual spots (porter tbs ssense)

Just get something from Burberry London/Brit or something. Also, any mid to upscale department store will have plenty of very slightly stylized coats like this.

I'm almost positive they're doing some shit in the back to present it like that, or his arms are holding it still from swinging closed.

is it the collar/zipper/button style you really want? just looks like a random interpretation of a long black coat, not worth ripping off and easy to find.

I disagree, Burberry's coats aren't as minimalistic.
