well the chemical straightening doesnt harm your hair like a flat iron or blowdryer would

another method without using heat is when you get out of the shower, pat dry your hair, leaving it fairly damp still, comb it neatly into a side parting, and then place a tight fitting cap or beanie over it until it dries (this could take a while)
it wont have the same quality as naturally straight hair (movability) but it definitely works

Because of your hair type, you don't have to necessarily do no-poo, because your hair might frizz in humidity or just be too wavy and unmanageable some days (I know them feels). A leave-in conditioner might work better for you (I used Garnier).

- Wash with shampoo and conditioner
- Towel dry
- Put in leave-in conditioner
- Style in general way you like it
- Let that dry
- Use wax to make your hair stay better, however you do it.

Different products will yield different results, that's up to you.

You would think it would be greasy, like leaving regular conditioner in, but for me it achieves that kind of "been sweaty, but hair wants to cooperate" feel. It has kind of a mild hold to it, oddly enough.

Best results with this have come from not showering in the morning, but showering without washing your hair isn't bad either, but I don't recommend it. Using a 2-in-1 like Head and Shoulders isn't bad either.

I used the forming creme for a while because I got it in like a BOGO pack with Fiber and I stopped using it immediately because of how greasy it looks and there is literally no hold to it - it just makes your hair look and feels like wet straw.

You're probably using too much or your hair would be better off with wax or something different.

I want to slick my long hair (on top) back and keep it out of my face all day. To achieve this I have been using AC pomade, which we all know makes your hair look real shiny and isn't all that healthy, also i tend to use a lot. Would Fiber be a better bet if I want to lose those downsides, or would it fail to keep my hair out of my face? My hair is longest at the fringe where it reaches the tip of my nose if I tug it down. Sides are buzzed and tapered.

I don't rest often. I usually do pyramid overloads, so that doesn't give me much time for resting. Probably about 45 seconds working up the pyramid to my max, then no rest inbetween deload sets. I don't keep track however, so I can't say for sure. with pyramid overloads you can get a good strength workout+hypertrophy. I would highly recommend it if you really need a routine.

This was taken just after styling it, so that may be it. Although the hairspray does tend to make it look shiny. Any ideas to get rid of that? If I only use wax then it won't hold for longer than 10 minutes.

How the fuck do I deal with a cowlick on the top of my head? Used to have long hair that weighed it down, shaved it all off but as soon as it grows out just a little it becomes very noticeable. Pic won't do much good.

No part of me is very /fa/ so having overly elaborate hair styling would just look out of place, and also hate elaborate daily rituals. So I guess, best minimalist styling product?
