peacoats are fine for a sharp business casual look.

duffle coats are a little more informal, and are also fine, but sharp.

both are a little played out by /fa/'s standards, duffle coats were last year, peacoats were even older.

both will look fine irl if you know how to wear them. you will just get shit on if you post them in a /fa/ fit, because people will think you're just really late to the badnwagon.

as above. it's okayish with water, unless it's pissing it down you won't feel anything but if it is you'll only feel a bit cold but not damp.

The dark blue/navy one fitted better, the pockets felt more natural to put your hands in and it's elasticated (not sure how to explain it, it's like a superdry jacket) at the hands.

my opinion? I don't like the color, the fit looks boxy, the material looks a little too thick (not terrible though), the hood/hood opening is too small, and it's not long enough.

This is, however, comparing it to my personal ideal parka, which is in no way objectively the best style out there.

If that were exactly style I was going for, I would cop. looks warm and probably waterproof.
