How is it that people manage to look really shitty, even when its hard to fail?

I mean, look at this picture. Some kid is wearing casual basics, CDB's jeans, and a sweater. And yet, it looks like absolute shit.

OK, here are my problems with this:

- bad camera angle doesn't help.
- poor posture also doesn't help.
- if you have big feet, don't wear bulbous toed footwear and legs that taper to a narrow ankle -- this is what's known as the clown shoe effect
- maybe fold back the cuffs on the sweater a bit
- try to find a sweater that isn't so loose around the midsection

All that said it doesn't look like absolute shit. It looks meh. Still better than 90% of 'murican men with their shitty pleated Dockers and 3-button suits and polo shirts with loose sleeves down to the elbow.
