Thanks. I think I'm gonna save up for the Fjallraven. I haven't spent over $100 on any piece of clothing since I bought my boots almost a year ago. I've barely spent $100 total on clothing in the past year really. I've been wanting a big green parka for years and I don't think my taste is going to change too much so I think I'll appreciate getting the Fjallraven in the long run.

They styled it horrbily on the site and that model has major gyno, but it's pretty amazing in the real. Pretty minimal styling, drapes nice and feels amazing. Got it with a €100,- discount too, bought it in the middle of summer.

on the subject of parka kinds of outerwear, ive always been more attracted to having a water proof shell (even parka length, just lighter weight) and wearing a warm layer or two underneath it, i always thought that if i bought a heavy parka, it would be a pain to carry around when i went indoors and stuff...maybe other people utilize their outerwear differently than me but i would constantly be taking a heavy parka off for one thing or another
