What makes VTB so bad? The drape on this tee actually looks pretty nice.

>> No.6787712

Gen 1 cuts weren't great and they're a little fragile. Comfy though.
Gen 2 was better but more basic. Every color used a different material. Material on the black shirts wasn't great imo. Didn't try brown. Greys were good though. Cut on the j-shape shirts wasn't the best either.
Haven't bought any of the newest ones but I plan on getting the white j-shape tee. Only wish they had model pics of these. Not sure why they stopped that.
VTB isn't really bad or anything, it's just that you're better off getting stuff like SILENT or T by Alex Wang on sale.

Oh and gen 1 was made in China. Newer stuff is Cali made.

When you say fragile do you mean get holes in them since I don't mind a few holes.

The fabric actually feels fragile. It's very thin and soft to the touch. Easily misshapen. Sometimes I'm afraid that the shirts are gonna get caught on something and just tear apart when I'm wearing them.
That's just the first gen stuff though.

I actually really like the black gen 2 fabric. Stout, but stretchy. It doesn't drape too well, but it would make an amazing fitted tee. Why don't more brands use rayon?

more expensive than t by alexander wang

doesn't look as nice as mainline rick

no resale value

any more questions?

Is the beanie worth it? I like the raw edge and how the material appears very light. I wish they carried a black version, though.

Overall, what are your thoughts about it? I don't mind that it's thin so I could wear it even if it isn't that cold out. The only problem is they aren't carrying a black beanie atm

I bought one in grey and I really liked it as an interchangeable beater, but it's cheap crap and it pills up and turns brown wherever the sun hits it (which I kind of liked, tbh), and then when you try shaving some of the pills off you slip and tear a hole in it because your skinny girl arms are still shaky from the gym, but you've grown attached to it at this point so you keep wearing it with the hole you tell yourself you're going to stitch up and maybe you even order another color when it's on sale because if you had 275 dollars to waste you probably wouldn't spend it on a Rick beanie right off the bat until you really get sick of wearing stuff that apes it, which I am just starting to.

Is it worth buying a alexander wang t-shirt?

Sometimes it looks like they will shrink after one wash??
