/fit/ here. if i find jeans that fit my waist/hips then they don't fit my thighs, so i'm forced to buy a size or two bigger

because of this, i wear only cargo shorts. to be honest, i think i pull it off because it fits my physique and my character.

anyways, had a date the other day and realized i probably need to find at least a pair or two of pants to wear. any recommendations? 501s don't fit

it might not be your typical /fa/ attire, but if you were to see me on the street you would not definitely think i was ill dressed..

Wow, just wow. Take a week off creatine, it's making you foolish.
Just start tailoring your clothes, its the only way. Cargo shorts are gross because the pockets give the appearance of swollen thighs and they ruin you silhouette.

Try some 508s or other TAPERED jeans/trousers for starters.

I don't care how "masculine" you are (or think you are), because cargo shorts will always make you look like a little boy. You will never be taken seriously by anyone who cares about clothes.

You can either ignore me and probably the rest of /fa/ when hearing this, or you can just wear some real fucking pants.

If your quads and/or ass are too big for jeans to fit comfortably (very possible seeing as you're fit), try chinos. Stay away from anything "slim fit." Pretty much anything from J Crew will be too small, but banana republic might have something decent.

If not chinos, maybe dress trousers, but it sounds like they wouldn't fit with your current wardrobe. All of those brands/fits that /fa/ labels as being for old people...try them. Most people here are twigs who can fit into any fucking pair of pants they want, so it's a bitch if you actually squat.

I currently own what will probably be my last ever pair of J crew chinos. They fit okay (but not great) when I got them 3 months ago, and now they're just too small. Trying b. republic before I go to school, and maybe ralph lauren.

If OP actually squats, carrot/tapered fits will still be too small. I can't even fit into straight leg jeans in a waist size 1-2" above my actual measurement.

op here. and i definitely look nothing like this and my cargo fits are nothing close to this. i wear gap cargos that actually fit in length, never with sandals, etc.
to be honest, it's simply a bitch to wear jeans because they're uncomfortable and too constraining

i went to ross the other day and was going to buy some chinos that were like 2-3 sizes too big. they fit comfortable, but they looked a little bit big.. i ended up not buying them

i probably should have.. fuck it, they were comfortable
