What are some good tips /fa/ has for people who want to wear things like slim or skinny black jeans?

I'm looking for a way to still have that darker look without going too emo.

What are some tips on tailoring jeans? I bought some slim black levi's which fit well around my waist and are a bit tight around my legs (but I'm cutting now so they'll get a bit looser)... and the problem is that because they are straight and slim they are disproportionately baggy around the calves. Now I don't want to go skin tight or anything, but I am unsure of what would be best.

Any tips?
