the depressing thing about living there is that you feel like the whole city is above you. my roomate alwasys complained that she felt like we were living in a hole. sometimes i wouldnt go out for days because the outside looked so grimdark, but in reality it could have been a realy nice day and i just simply wouldn't know because my flat is in shade 20/24 hours a day and i would sleep trough first 2-3 hours of sun.
also, in the winter, dirty snow stays longer there than in the rest of the city, and streets are wet longer when it rains. in the summer it is very hot. but not because of the sun (cause we dont get a lot of it) but rather from the concrete radiating the heat everywhere around you. also, having river nearby when it is that hot you are bound to have very high humidity.

i gotta move out.
