So, thanks to almost certainly the worst 12 months of my life I'm unemployed, homeless and had to drop out of university.

I'm also from the Isle of Wight. This guy is probably from Ryde... I live in a village called Niton and it isn't too bad. There's nothing to do here apart from hang out with your friends and go to parties really but this guy isn't doing the reputation of this place any favours. If you go out in the country side its great for photography and walk, just don't bother with towns like Ryde if you want nights out go to Southampton, Portsmouth or Brighton. I've been out in Ryde drinking twice and it's just druggies and sluts everywhere... heroin-chic at it's best.

My phone's paid up to the end of this month, posting from that in between emailing people and trying to find work. I spent six hours walking around Camden, Islington, Angel, King's Cross and Euston handing out CVs yesterday and it didn't go well, despite getting a friend who works in the area to give me a hit list of places desperate for staff.

Before that I spent the morning emailing people and trying to get in touch with contacts who could find me a place to crash/a job, also searched for jobs online with a recruiter. How much more proactive do you want me to be?
