im about to get a haircut this weekend but im just sick of having a terrible cut. probably because i suck at explaining things cause i just say "just make it how it looks right now but thinner and shorter" but they fuck it up anyway.
so if i say just say what clippers they should use i think it'd be better.

do you guys know what every clipper guard looks like? i mean visually... like what does a haircut look like with #4, #5, etc.? its pretty hard to google it.

go to a professional salon and pay the extra money for the cut. i was never happy with haircuts until i started going to the guy i got to now, and he charges me 40 bux CAD for it. it's so worth it though.

tell them not to use the clipper at all! they should only be using their hands to thin out and texturize it. the only reason to use a clipper is if you want it buzzed.

tl;dr go pay lots of money for your haircut and you'll be happy with it.
