as i said dark indigo and black are the best colours for jeans, not even really a matter of opinion. what is your budget exactly? entry level jeans are nudie, apc, acne. if you wait for a sale you should be able to get nudies for 100 dollars or so. about the tight pants thing, if youre really uncomfortable with slims or skinnys, you could try to get a straight cut pair of jeans and have them tapered from the knee down. any tailor will do this for >40 dollars. make sure they remove fabric at the inseam, otherwise the silhouette will go to shit. baggy is generally not a good idea
