There's a big difference in what type of "battlejacket"/"kutte".

First of all, there's a crustpunx type. Usually it's black, has all sorts of monochrome b/w patches stitched on in dental floss. Patches cover a bunch of bands nobody's ever heard of and maybe some statements like "go vegan" or "smash the state" or whatever stereotype they want to address. Studs are commonplace on this type as well.
See your jacket but picture it with more discharge-patches.

Then there's the the thrash metal jacket. Usually it's blue or light wash jeans. Important part is the backpatch, has to be a metalband and preferably one the thrash variety (read: SLAYUHR). Patches are usually more colorful and stitched on in black thread.

Get rid of those shitty entry tier band patches, find somer better metal/punk. Seriously lose some weight, you don't have to lose much but lose a little.

Okay, so I've made a two punk vests in my time ,so far, one black and one blue jean material. The black one I wanted to focus mostly on studding and minimalist patches, I kind of fucked that up, though because it has a bunch of patches I put on kind of recently. Try to focus on bands you really like, and actually listen to, so actually do some research into the bands you put on there.

Lose the gay ass sons of anarchy shirt, it makes you look gay. Get some good band shirts, and just don't try too hard.
And it's not just the contrast in that picture, the vest's really that dirty.

sleeveless wont work for you, if its hot weather where you live find something thin with long sleeves to put over a t-shirt (with your fave metal band on), something like pictured here, dont button it tho and if you have to, only roll up the seleeves 3 times by its own cuffs or whichever length to never let your elbows show, beanie hat with or without the fold at the edge can help a lot too
