This seems like a good thread for this.
I'm trying out a new look at the moment, and I need some advice. I love the monochrome gothninja look a lot but i also skate so i don't know how that will fit in, so I'm starting my own style I'm gonna call skateninja. I'm gonna wear black tees and black jeans for the black look but with coloured skate shoes that pop out and still show I skate. I know /fa/ doesn't usually like loud sneakers, but I think these will really work for the look and they are probably the only sneaker i bought before becoming /fa/ that will still work with outfits.

If you want to wear something that "pops" with an otherwise monochrome fit, I would not go that route. That will just look silly imo.
I'd just go with something that matches or contrasts your fit with patent leather or something. Something glossy.
