ILU is stocking everything tomorrow night. Be aware, they sell out very fast in medium size. I bought my black trackies from othshop.ca. A few dollars more expensive but it was worth it. They also look like shit on the website, which is why they still have mediums in stock.

It's not just the opinions of others that shapes my style. It's also that I haven't got a lot of money to throw around. I'd hate to think I've thrown away my money on something that actually looks p. silly.

If you wear the pants by themselves it'll look silly and like you've shat your pants.

If you get them with cloth that falls a certain way and wear long cut shirts (you may have to make some yourself because they're pretty fucking expensive for a basic shirt) then it elongates your torso and changes your silhouette.

i see where you're coming from too, but you also have to understand that people that don't care about the way they look (esp middle americans and your mum) don't and shouldn't have much sway on your style.

You haven't even tried them on yet and already you're telling yourself "it's not for you". That's asinine and a terrible attitude to carry with you through life.

Yeah, we dress for others all the time without even knowing it and what is the zeitgeist if not popular opinion, but his point still stands.
Allowing an individual or a fear to get between you and the look you'd like to pursue is often a bad move, if only because it can leave you wondering and unfulfilled.
Look at it this way, it's a stop you feel you needed to make. If you'd made that stop, you would have learned something and internalized a lesson in fashion. Whether or not it was the right stop for you is kind of irrelevant, They're all the right stops, especially if deep down you'd like to make them.

The money issue, is of course, the real wrench in the gears, and ups the risk of the purchase. Sometimes the massive risk involved in a pricey 'nxtlvl' purchase really takes the experience of copping it to another level... Like, what a rush. The reward you feel when you reflect on a good but dangerous choice is positively sublime. It's also a commitment, on some level. It will affect your future purchases. That's even scarier, huh?
