Pls help me /fa/, I usually use american crew forming cream but my hair is getting too long too use it as it's pretty curly and it just clumps it together. This is what it looks like after a day of trying to fix it though. Can somebody recommend me a different product to use when it gets longer? I'm looking for something that gives it a bit of volume and texture but isn't too sticky and has quite a soft hold.

I have thick straight hair and it's been about a month since my shitty greatclips tier 3 on the sides and trim on top.

Should I get it trimmed during? Should I get a different cut before growing it out?

right small question, I'm in early stages of growing my hair out at the moment but due to the nature of previous haircuts, my hair is longer on one side (by about two inches) than on the other.

my question is, do I cut it evenly (I have shaved sides and longer on the top currently) and then leave it to grow evenly, or do I leave it? I don't want to set back my hair growth but I dislike it being uneven

I'm 20 now and had a REALLY shitty hairline at age 18 as well. However, It was really bad for as long as I can remember (like since I was 15). Perhaps its just a naturally formed hairline that runs in your family. I would keep observing it carefully and if you notice it getting worse then its time for minoxidil. Also, there are some good short haircuts that you can wear with a bad hairline. Take the half/semi front fauxhawk thing. It may not be /fa/ approved, but it gets the job done.

Shit man it doesn't matter how I cut it it always looks bad from the side and back. So self concious about it that I can't even take pictures of it, and its worsened by the fact that every few customers a day have to compliment on how amazing my hair looks and how they wish they had that color.

Feels so bad man. And people ask me why I wear a hat 24/7.

First time /fa/ poster here

My hair sticks out everywhere like a porcupine after I shower, especially on the sides, and I usually have to wait a full day before it goes back to normal. I use head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner all the time and obviously it's not working. I've looked around and some people say it's natural and unfixable while others say it's too dry and whatnot. Should I switch to a different shampoo, use leave-in conditioner, etc.? How do I properly take care of my hair?
