You can't tell until you get them into your hands (unless you have a good eye and the seller uses HQ pics) and even then you may not be able to if you're inexperienced. The other thing that they don't tell you is that for both sites you're looking at doubling the list price for any item just in shipping and proxy fees. (For y!jp, it's sometimes triple.)

$150 for a pair of rafs may seem like a good deal, but in most cases you'll end up paying closer to $265. This is why most /fa/ people haven't moved over to them.
