So I'm in a predicament; my shorts are too long.
Should I wear the waistline up high and look like a cholocore fuccboi or should I tailor them (not even sure if possible, they're pod shorts)

They're Rick Owens Pod Shorts, they only had size small left and not extra small, I thought "fuck it, it can't be that long", I was wrong. To make them look normal (below the knees slightly), I have to pull the waistline up past my belly button/to my belly button lmao.
I could return it, but almost everywhere is sold out of XS and S, so I'm not exactly sure if I should return them.

too late, you need to cop XS. they can't be tailored. the way they're constructed you'd actually have to completely take apart the shorts and re-do the pattern

I figured as such, I knew they wouldn't of been able to be tailored but being desperate I asked anyways.
Copping an XS isn't really possible, I haven't had any luck for the past month so I settled for S. Should I wear them a little higher or am I really fucked and should return? I really do like them.

Picture related, the black line is where the shorts fall to when I wear it comfortably at my waistline (I might have put it a little lower then where it actually is).

Jebuz... either you didn't get real pod shorts or your legs are short as heck.

Like someone mentioned before... to get them taken up you've only got about 2-3 inches to work with before they inseam would hit the crotch.

you may have to send them back dude cause it might just not work

I'm quite sure I got real pod shorts, I ordered them from LN-CC. 30 inches is pretty long for a pair of S shorts, but I was desperate. XS would have been 27 inches which would have been perfect.
Yes, I'm a manlet by the way (5'7-5'8).
I guess maybe I should return them, tailoring and wearing them high seems to be out of the question without looking like an idiot. Thanks for the input!

2 to 3 inches? are we looking at the same pair of shorts? i'm wearing mine now and there's a half inch between the botttom piece and the "inseam"

for reference the "bottom piece" comes to a point at the crotch where the buttons meet, then expands in width and runs up the back of the shorts. this isn't my pic, but this back shot gives you an idea of how long the "inseam" is, mine have buttoned cargo back pockets

What the, I didn't even know they made Jersey pods without pockets. My ones are cotton mainline and they have about 2 inches from the bottom of the hem to the crotch.
