What are some /fa/ approved Bucks or Oxfords for under $200. The only ones Im seeing are cheaper ones at <$100 or baller status at >$400 with nothing in between.

Already have a pair of loafers from them and they were $450. Looking to go cheaper since these will be more of a daily driver with casual outfits.

Check out the Bostonian Eastbend.

These are cheap as hell and they'll last you a while.

Get the ones in white or sand suede and thank me later.

What makes these special compared to other sub $100 pairs like Bass?

know of anything a little slimmer?

For about the same price of Bass shoes, these are higher quality (although that is not saying much). Also, these shoes are slimmer than any clunky Bass oxford. That's it, really.

What is a good Oxford to wear with jeans? I have a pair of lighter brown mocs, but I'm looking for something "business casual" to wear with jeans and say... a red shirt. Red, blue, and brown don't really jive well.

>> No.6256537

>>6256524

Dont know what kind of jeans you have, but a red shirt + jeans is probably not a good match to begin with.

Why?

Since you said work I just assumed lighter jeans since thats what I see all the time which IMO doesnt go well with red. Indigo and black are good though.

Lighter jeans? Nah, I work in an office, so darker washes are a given.

Any suggestions on shoes? Perhaps a darker brown or a cognac color would fit the bill? Not really sure about black.

The Brooks Bros ones are ~$200 bro. Also, I ordered a pair from Meermin that were <200 that should be nice, although they're taking forever to make them.

Cool. Wanted a dark brown before I got other colors though. Might pick up a pair when they have another 30% off sale

>> No.6256842

Meermin has a dark brown, but like I said don't expect them to arrive fast. I guess it takes them 30 days to make the shoe before they ship it to you, if they don't have your size in stock.

looks nice but it looks like it going to cost $45 to ship to the US
