The fit of dude's (tinfoil) clothes are just so weird and uncomplimentary to each other and his build. Some layering could definitely help and again the shoes really bug me. I don't normally care when people post fits that suck but I think this guy could dress OK with really minimal extra effort. Put a slightly contrasting tank under the black tee and some type of relaxed cardigan/jacket over and your good to go. If it's too hot wherever he is, skip the outer layer and just get some more relaxed pants so the silhouette isn't so boring/awkward. I'm tired of peeping those ankles.

ok i've posted a fit in this thread so i feel like i have the room to mention: a lot of the better dressed /fa/ browsers/posters that actually dish out money on expensive pieces, don't post fits here (not all, there's a couple consistent nicely dressed waywt posters here) - this also goes for a lot of the knowledgeable posters. i think it's mostly because this isn't a very knowledgeable community, and there's not much you usually get out of posting a fit in a waywt. but waywt are potentially a good opportunity of critique for people that aren't quite there yet or are finding their way. that said, /fa/ is what you would expect of a 4chan fashion community - the critique is rarely thorough or helpful but this is where i started and it's nice to engage in a "fast-paced" fashion community just for the sake of that.

sufu is objectively better although i post fits here from time to time because i don't think i'm quite at that standard yet. although i feel like i have enough knowledge to critique looks without needing to post my own.

none of those posts quoted were mine but there is a difference between shitting and critique, albeit /fa/ "critique" is typically a single unhelpful sentence.

theres quite a bit of mens patterns out there. the best patterns you can buy are from japan, however you have to understand sewing and how to read pattern markings in order to put them together. If i were you id just start with simple dresses. if you want to learn to sew, most of what you make will be total shit for the first hundred+ times you make things, it doesnt matter what you sew when youre learning.

in order to know how to make patterns, you need to know how to sew first. its necessary
