Short haircuts are easy. You go to the barber, and you go "Cut my hair short." and he goes "Okay, how short?" and you go "Like, short, short."

And then you deal with that for a month or so until you're used to having less hair, and then you think about a hairstyle. Best not to do these things all at once, ya know?

You look dirty and ungroomed. What's up with all these dirty neckbeards thinking they could pull off manbuns? The people you usually see with those in photos at least still get haircuts and take care of their hair as well as use some hairproduct to keep away flyaway hair so it's not even as much less maintenance than short hair, which at least uses less shampoo/conditioner products, keeps your scalp healthier by allowing thorough cleaning and drying of the scalp, and is more generally positively received into the mainstream.

yea, but he did the bun part wrong. still too many frizzy, unkempt hairs that make it look gross around the temple and the hair around his neck isn't dense/long enough, so it makes it look patchy. I don't think he can pull off a manbun as well as short hair. just get the hair like in that music video. I think you'll look decent that way and it might also help with the acne. just be sure to get layers on top, and bring in a picture and go to a decent salon, so they can at least recommend styling products.

Yes. Main thing you do wrong, however, is that you kin of just "fold" it into a bun - that's fine if your hair is short(er), but you've got long enough hair to make it look fuller. Try a french twist? You do one by putting it in a pony tail where you want the bun to sit, brushing/combing the ends of it do have it smoother, and simply twisting it into a coil. After a little while you start spinning it around itself while still twisting the tail, until you can simply put the ends underneath the bun and either put a second elastic band around it or pinning it in place with some booby pins.

There are loads of tutorials on youtube, if my description wasn't enough, haha.

Even easier way is if you simply grab the bun you've got in >>6147415, twist it a bit and hide the ends under the elastic band/putting a second band over it.

Might want to get rid of the goatee and go full beard or at least fully covered stubble when manbunning. Incorporate that with the rest of the tips here and you'll be on your way to handsomeville in no time.

If all else fails you can always do pic related. Just know that it will take 2 or 3 years to get it back again.
