that's not actually a bowler hat.

it's an open crown stetson/fedora. As in if you pinched the crown you'd turn it into a fedora or whatever.

You can't actually do that with a bowler hat as the crown is shapped specifically to be left open, it's also characterised by brims that roll towards the crown.
