Hi /fa/

I've got an interview on Wednesday and I was wondering if you could suggest a quality cheap suit/vest outfit for the interview (preferably vest since I don't have one in my wardrobe yet).

Thanks.

Is a vest considered corporate-wear?

It's already too late for you, anon.

Your suit will look terrible without being tailored, doubly so because it's cheap. And you don't have enough time for a tailor to work his magic.

In the past yes, but not really anymore.

Get hit by a car. If you live, you can sue the driver. If you die, then all your fashion worries are behind you.

well, I bought a suit at zara that fits pretty well off the rack, except fopr the fact the pants aren't hemmed. it doesn't look too bad though, because I'm tall. you can try there. it was about $200 for the pants and jacket.

What do you guys think of H&M or Express suits? Something cheap off the rack, but after my interview I get it tailored.

I was once in a similar situation and bought a suit fro express, left the tags on, and returned it after the interview. They did not like me, though.

Dress for the job. If it's an investment banker position, you really should have had a suit and sorry mate but you're fucked.
If however it's a Maccas position, you're not going to need to go full formal on their asses, just a decent long sleeve button up shirt and some slacks w/ decent leather shoes. That there is about the absolute minimum you should go to a job interview with.

Good luck, by the way, I hope you get the job and you enjoy it.

That sounds like something I'd try. I can't believe I didn't consider to do this yet.
